Your customers’ answers never pass through Formentic.
Formentic is where your team builds and changes forms. The forms themselves run on your own pages and save every answer straight into your own platform. There is no stop in between.

- A sync that can lag or fail
Formentic
- Answers saved only in your own platform

- In your data the moment they submit
What Formentic holds, and what it never holds.
Formentic holds
- Your team’s logins and roles
- Your plan, branding and support requests
- How each form is set up: fields, texts, layouts
- The connection to your Marketing Cloud, encrypted
Formentic never holds
- Form answers
- The people who fill in your forms
- Their email addresses
- Who saw which A/B version (only anonymous counts, in your account)
Your forms don’t depend on us to run.
Every form runs from your own Marketing Cloud. If Formentic were offline, your forms would keep showing and keep saving answers.
The four questions reviewers ask.
Can Formentic read our submissions?
The connection you create can read and write data extensions, images, content blocks and emails, as any Marketing Cloud tool that builds forms and emails must. Formentic uses it to set up its tables, save how forms are built, save the emails you build and upload the screenshots of your tests. It never copies answers into Formentic, and you can revoke the connection at any time; live forms keep running.
Do we need a DPA for our customers’ data?
Our Data Processing Agreement covers it. Because the connection can reach the data extensions where answers are saved, the DPA treats Formentic as your processor for that data, even though answers never pass through or are stored by Formentic.
Where do the forms run?
On your own Cloud Pages, on the domain your Marketing Cloud already uses.
What about A/B tests?
Each view or submission is an anonymous count in your own account, with no visitor identity.
